Thursday, September 7. Finnish Immigration to the US

Former judge, now writer and publisher (Cloquet River Press), Mark Munger will speak on his fiction regarding Finnish immigrants to the U.S.  Mark will have for sale the third volume of his trilogy on the subject, part historical novel, part thriller Kotimaa: Homeland.

December (Exact date to be announced).  Holocaust Historians Discuss Their Work.  Natalie Belsky will discuss her research on Jewish refugees in Central Asia during World War II.  Alexis Pogorelskin will discuss her forthcoming book titled Hollywood and the Nazis on the Eve of War: The Case of The Mortal Storm to be published by Bloomsbury Press in May 2024.  Sheer Ganor of the Twin Cities History Dept. will speak on the global network of Jewish refugees from Nazi Germany.
