Hamantaschen bakers
Younger students painted and decorated 22 mishlo’ach manot containers, while older students baked hamantaschen and filled them.
Todah to Debbie Freedman and recent b'nei mitzvah students Hannah and Noah for teaching us the finer points of rolling and shaping the dough, spreading the fillings and forming the triangular-shaped pastries that remind us of Haman's hat.
We added boxes of yogurt-covered raisins along with the hamantaschen. Families delivered the packages to members of our synagogue community on Purim. To see more photos, click here.
